Open Plan Barn Conversion
The project involved the reconstruction of a stone barn, a modern barn, garaging and a conservatory to a modern house.
The existing stone barn was in a poor state of repair but sat in a commanding position with views to the Welsh and Malvern hills. The existing mono-pitched roof was removed and replaced with a pitched clay tile roof, supported by a new oak frame traditionally jointed.
The new barn was constructed with a steel portal frame to provide the needed head room for agricultural machines and is clad in brick and cedar that will naturally grey.
The project was completed on time and budget.
